Here is an outline of RIM’s roadmap for the year 2012:

- Playbook 10 inches with the ability of LTE will release in December 2012

- Playbook 7 inches with 3G+ capabilities (without the LTE because of the chipset) will release in April 2012

- The first Blackberry 10 mobile phones will release in September 2012

- Playbook OS 2.0 will be release at the end of February 2012

- Mobile Fusion will release in April 2012

- Playbook Admin Service will release in summer 2012

Many are hoping that there is an announcement of the Blackberry 10 device at the Blackberry World event in May. But the sources said that the latest devices that RIM will be showcased at the event was only a 7-inch Playbook with OS 2.0.
