Are you often bothered by the sound ‘clack clack’ which often arise from a Mac computer speakers? Even when you play music from iTunes that is connected to the Altec Lansing system, the sound is still audible. Well, perhaps you could easily put the earphones or mute the volume set to muffle the noise was but a step below will work more effectively:
SHIFT + VOLUME UP/DOWN
Yup, by pressing two buttons together the disturbing sound coming out of the speakers can be damped. This step will help you, especially during the middle of a presentation.
Note:
To adjust the volume, previously you can press SHIFT + OPTION. This step allows you to get the volume right the way you want. But the option is no longer to be found in Lion.
