2011 may have been passed but can not be denied that the year 2011 has been a great year for the development of the technology. Various kinds of gadgets that was released last year gave a great influence on the development of the technology in 2012. Yet not all products and technologies that release occurred in 2011 could be called a success. There are a number of products that are considered failed and problematic to not attract public attention and requires a lot of improvements in this 2012. What are they?
1. Motorola Xoom

At the CES 2011, Motorola Xoom became the best products that amaze millions of pairs of eyes. Released as the first tablet running Android Honeycomb, Xoom is a tablet that was not expected by many parties. Motorola was called push to hard to release 10.1-inch tablet for the sake of public concern stemming from the release of iPad 2 afterwards.
2. Return of webOS

Hewlett-Packard (HP) are surprisingly announced the dismissal of webOS devices business including stopping production of the new TouchPad HP a few months of release. It is believed that low sales as the main cause of HP to disband its mobile business. But what happens then, towards the end of 2011 HP through its CEO said reopening the mobile business. Not only that, HP also said it had prepared possessed webOS-based tablets that have not been scheduled when it will release. Well, it seems that HP has convinced not to repeat previous failures with the TouchPad.
3. iPhone 4S

Apple fans for over a year have been awaiting the arrival of Apple’s iPhone 5 but in the end just to give the new version of the iPhone 4 is called the iPhone 4S. Disappointing? Although iPhone sales are not disappointing 4S for Apple’s latest smartphone, but attendance was very very disappointing for Apple fans who have long waited for the metamorphose of iPhone through iPhone 5.
4. Google+

In 2011 Google also compete in the realm of social media through the launch of Google+. By providing security features such as privacy settings, group video chats and Circles, Google+ is designed to distract the world from Facebook, which has become the world’s most popular social networks. Great zeal to build a Google+ does not seem in line with the results obtained because Facebook still occupy the top position as the most visited social media around the world.

Apple also wants to enliven the world of social media with the launch of Ping. Not just failed, Ping is also not popular among Apple fans.
6. carrier iQ

Carrier IQ is so phenomenal towards the end of 2011. This software company became famous for making so-called spyware Carrier IQ has been spying on millions of smartphones in America. 8. BlackBerry Playbook

BlackBerry smartphones can have many users but not with the Playbook. RIM’s first tablet even considered as fail product in the initial release. Unlike the BlackBerry smartphone that has a messenger service and an email client, Playbook neglected their two most popular features and disappointing BlackBerry fans.
